This year for Ramadan, diners will be able to break fast from sunset to 9.00pm in an exquisite and large indoor Ramadan tent located in the Town Square and the newly restored Mays El-Reem of JW Marriott Dubai.
Complete with rich drapery, comfortable cushions and seating, the ambience of the magnificent tent in the Town Square reflects the warmth and generosity of the true spirit of Ramadan.
Next to The Town Square is Mays El-Reem, inviting you to experience authentic Lebanese hospitality in inspiring surroundings.
Mays El-Reem will have an Arabic family style seating accompanied by a lavish Iftar buffet. Various live cooking stations serving falafel, kharouf, sharwarma, foul mesdamas and saj are located at the entrance of Mays El-Reem and in The Town Square. A special spice souk, a cart featuring various nuts and preserved fruits including dates will be featured accompanied by traditional Arabic decorations and chandeliers.
While enjoying their Iftar buffet, diners will have the opportunity to see Arabic sweets being prepared right in front of their eyes or they can watch the multiple plasma screens TV’s showing their favourite Ramadan season soap operas.
For AED 165 net per person for the Iftar buffet and AED 100 net per child from 6 to 12 years old, diners can begin with delicious dates and sweet drinks followed by tantalising cuisine. The Iftar buffet serves more than 60 varieties of food including Lebanese specialties. Start off with a range of Salads which include Vine Leaves; Fried Vegetable with Tahina; Fattoush; Tabbouleh; Okra in Oil; Beetroot Salad; Fish Harra, Feta Cheese with Zataar; Couscous and Cucumber Bil Laban. The favourite is the Fried Cheese and Sesame Salad.
Soups include Oriental Lentil Soup; Asparagus and Carrot. Don’t miss out the hot mezzah like Fried Potato Kebbeh; Spinach Fatayer; Cheese Spring Rolls; Chicken Liver with Pomegranate; Lebanese Soujok and Meat Sambousek.
Everyone likes home cooked dishes to break fast and our chefs have prepared them exactly to your liking. Try the Mutton Briyani; Chicken Mouloukhya; Fish Saoudia; Oriental Mixed Grill; Lamb Harres; Beef Stew with Black Olives; Celery Pilaf Rice; Fareed Lamb; Whole Fish Hara Sauce; Shish Barak; Lamb Bamia; Kofta Bilsinaya; Tomato Rice and Roast Beef with Roasted Potatoes.
An Iftar Buffet is not complete without the traditional Lamb Ouzi with Oriental Rice, a favourite dish on the Iftar buffet.
Complete your meal with Arabic sweets and desserts such as Mixed Baklawa; Cheese Kunafa; Um Ali; Halawa Bil Jibin and Kellaj. Also, don’t miss out on the French pastries, Black Forest Cake and Blueberry Cheese Pie. While you are at the dessert section, try the Zataar Cake, the Pastry Chef’s special creation.

After dinner, gather around for Evening Café at Mays El Reem with tea and flavoured Ajami and Argileh at the Mays El Reem from 11.00pm to 3.00am. A special a la carte menu consisting of Hot and Cold Mezzah; Soups; Grills and Sweets will be served.
The JW Marriott Dubai is all set for an Eid Al Fitr Celebration on the first day and 2nd day at Mays El-Reem from 7.00pm to 2.00am.
